The Crystal Kingdom of Chalcedonia was once a beautiful place, under the rule of Princess Rosalia, they lived happy peaceful lives. Until one day, monsters called Nightmares destroyed the kingdom. Princess Rosalia and her fairy knight Diana hid deep in the castle, praying that their last hope, the magical Rose Crystal Mirror would produce a miracle, and save their home. However, they were attacked by the leader of the Nightmare Agency, Druzy. Diana fought helplessly before finding herself transported to Earth, but her Princess was nowhere to be seen.
Unfortunately, the nightmares began to attack this new world too. Valerie Amaranth, an ordinary 16-year-old, has her world changed forever when she receives the powers of the Legendary Crystal Warrior Diamond Heart. Now with the help of Diana, she must find her allies, defeat the Nightmares, and rescue the missing princess Rosalia.

Magical Warrior Diamond Heart is an in-progress LGBT+ romantic dramedy visual novel. This game is inspired by magical girl anime. Play as Valerie Amaranth and decide the fate of the world while trying to smooch lots of cuties! Will Val defeat the Nightmares, make new friends, and find the love of her life along the way? Or will she meet her tragic end?
The game features a diverse cast of characters from varying racial/ethnic backgrounds and LGBT+ dating options.

The game is available on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android devices. In the future, once the full game is complete, I would love to port to Switch as well.
As for iOS, there are no plans to port to iPhone or iPad at this time. iOS app development requires devs to own a Mac computer and pay a hefty 100USD-per-year development fee in order to put their games on the app store. As a smaller developer I’m admittedly not confident that I’d be able to profit from the game enough to justify the fees and upkeep required to develop for iOS. Sorry! -
There will be a free version as well as a paid “deluxe” version with additional routes. Each route will be 7.99 USD individually.
Everyone will have a chance to play MWDH in some form without paying. -

Yes you can smooch girls!! Clover, Sophie, Chandra, Ethan, Liam, Alex, and Zacharie are all romance options. Diana and Opal were added in thanks to the generousity of the Kickstarter backers!
As for potentially adding more love interests for Valerie to pursue, that is not feasible, sorry! But don’t worry, the characters will get more content in the future if you just can’t get enough of them! -
While other characters might talk about dating multiple characters, you cannot date more than one person.
The game is already very content heavy as it is! And each route focuses on individual characters stories, so it would be very impractical and disorganized to allow the protagonist to pursue multiple stories at once.
You CAN hang out with any characters you want throughout the common route, however, and there will be opportunities to learn about other characters while on a different person’s route!

Magical Warrior Diamond Heart is suitable for ages 13+.
The story includes some themes that may be distressing to others, including mental health struggles, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and abuse. This story also depicts magic-based violence, blood/injury, and body horror.

Nope. MWDH is a solo project, meaning I (Dreamy Pyon/Pyonkotchi) am the main creative and the main writer. But that does not mean I do all the work! Lots of talented people have a hand in all the things that made the game how it is.

Yes MWDH will be partially voiced!
The main characters have been cast but keep an eye our for future auditions! I’d love to add in full voicing someday, once the script is complete and finalized that is. But full voice acting is quite expensive! If you would like to see that become a reality some day then please show your support and make it known!

Zacharie uses he/they pronouns and are written as a feminine-leaning nonbinary person. Please be respectful when discussing them and their presentation.
I understand many people find comfort and joy in Zacharie and plenty of people ask about him out of love for the character and a desire to be seen, however, please be mindful of the comments you may make.While it might feel like simple curiosity of a fictional character from your perspective, to other nonbinary people who might these comments, it feels invasive and inappropriate. Real trans and nonbinary people can be affected by your comments!
